Gina previously launched a platform called Ning in 2007, which gave people a way to create their own social networks.The Ning Experience

The Vision Behind Mighty Networks
The potential for a new internet culture and a different technological relationship inspired Gina to create Mighty Networks with Tim and Tom. They envisioned a world with a million unique, vibrant communities, all mastering something interesting or important together.This Vision Includes:
- Own Your Space: Host a community, courses, and memberships in your own space under your own brand—away from social media algorithms and distractions
- Create Your Culture: Design your own culture to help members achieve transformations
- Enable Connections: Members can meet and connect in new ways, finding people with common interests and going on collaborative “quests”
