Creating a Text Chat Event
Before creating your Event, make sure the Events feature is enabled in your Space. To create a Text Chat Event:- Select the Create button and choose Event.
- Add your Event details (title, date, time, repeating options, and more).
- Under Event Type, select Online.
- Choose Text Chat from the dropdown menu.
- Publish your Event.

After your Event is created, the Event post will include a link that takes members directly to the Space’s chat. Members can click or tap that link to join as soon as the Event begins.
Members who RSVP “Yes” or “Maybe” will receive an Event reminder notification 10 minutes before the start time.
Turn On the Chat Feature
A Text Chat Event uses the Space’s Chat feature. Before the Event starts, make sure Chat is enabled in that Space. To turn on Chat:- Go to the Space gear icon.
- Select Space Features > Chat.
- Enable Chat for the Space.
