Change fromAccessible Through PlanstoAnyone Can Join

  1. Click the gear icon for the Space.
  2. Go to Privacy & Access.
  3. Select Anyone in the Network can join this Space without restrictions.
You’ll also see the option to Enable Auto Join if you want all current and future Network members added automatically. Once updated, members who aren’t yet in the Space will see a Join option. All existing members keep their current plan access. If you don’t want people to see a plan listed alongside the Join option, open the plan’s settings and make the plan hidden by unchecking all boxes under Choose Where This Plan Appears.

Change fromAccessible Through PlanstoInvite-Only

To switch to Invite-Only, you must make all active plans that include this Space inactive.
  1. Open each plan that includes the Space.
  2. Go to the Visibility & Sharing tab.
  3. Uncheck all boxes under Choose Where This Plan Appears to hide the plan.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete all links (skip if none were created).
Existing members keep their plan-based access, but the plans will no longer be visible or available for anyone new to join. Once plans are inactive, update the Space’s Privacy & Access settings. You can now send invite links or email invites, and only invited people will see the option to join.

  1. Create a plan that includes the Space (and any other Spaces you want the plan to unlock).
  2. Make the plan active by selecting at least one option under Choose Where This Plan Appears or by creating Share Links.
  3. If the Space was set to Anyone Can Join, open Space Privacy & Access and uncheck Anyone in the Network can join this Space without restrictions.
Existing members will still have access to the Space, but they won’t be on a plan. Going forward, people must join the Space through a plan. If someone is invited to the Space directly, they’ll be taken to the available plans.
