Chat with Cohost
In the upper right corner of your Mighty Network on web, you’ll find the Cohost icon next to your personal settings.
- History icon — Opens a dropdown with your conversation history and updates from the Mighty team
- Plus icon — Starts a new conversation. You’ll see it once you’re in a conversation.
- Close icon — Closes the Cohost panel
What you can do with Cohost
Cohost helps you take action and move faster. Here’s what it can do today. For actions that need confirmation, you’ll see an approval card first — more on that below.
Create and set up
- Spaces — Create new Spaces using available templates
- Collections — Create Collections and add new Spaces to them
- Space access — Open a Space up to members. Spaces Cohost creates stay hidden from members until you open them, and Cohost offers to do this for you. Ask Cohost to let members find the Space, look inside before joining, or join without an invitation. For example: “Make my new Space visible and joinable for everyone.” You can also ask Cohost to hide a Space again.
- Rename — rename existing Spaces and Collections, your Network name
- Reorder — Spaces in existing Collections
- Discovery sections — Move a gallery section up or down on your Discovery page or a Collection page
- Custom navigation links — Add a link to your Left Navigation Panel pointing to an external site or an internal page, change its title or destination, or remove it.
- Web address — change your Network’s
mn.cosubdomain after confirming the exact new address - Landing Space — Select the Space that visitors, new members, or returning members land on when they arrive (the Space needs auto join turned on)
- Plans — Set up pricing and monetization for your Network, including:
- Naming
- Pricing
- Gates
- Sales pitch
- Benefits list
- Descriptions
- Waitlists — Ask Cohost to publish a shareable landing page for an existing waitlist. The page opens with your Network name over “Get notified when the doors open.” and closes with an “About” section headed with your Network name. Cohost writes the supporting copy from your Big Purpose. To use a different heading, ask Cohost for it when you request the page. Cohost also embeds the waitlist signup form and hands back a link you can share right away.
- Landing page share cards — Ask Cohost to show one of your landing pages (or a waitlist’s signup page, including waitlists created outside Cohost) as a share card in the conversation. Cohost only shows pages that are live — if the page is still a draft, or the waitlist doesn’t have a landing page yet, Cohost will tell you what to do next (for example, publish the page, or create a shareable page for the waitlist).
Create and Manage Content
- Events — Create new Events in a Space, and update existing ones (date, time, recurrence, and more)
- Posts — Create a post in a Space, and edit a post after it’s published
- Comments — Comment on a post, and edit a comment
- Reactions — React to a post, and remove a reaction
- Saved posts — Save a post, or remove it from your saved posts
- Chat bookmarks — Bookmark a Space’s Chat, or remove the bookmark (direct messages and Chat threads can’t be bookmarked from Cohost)
- Courses — Hide a Lesson, Section, or Quiz so members can no longer see it (ask Cohost to publish it again when you’re ready — that one needs your approval)
- Course progress — Mark a Lesson as viewed or complete, answer Quiz questions, and submit a Quiz to test it the way members do (you’ll need to be a member of the Course)
- Quiz results — View who has taken a Quiz and how they answered, how many members have attempted it, and Quiz attempts across your whole Network
- Polls — create a poll, add or edit choices, vote, and read back the tallies
- Events — RSVP for yourself, reschedule or cancel a single occurrence of a recurring series, and undo it
- Livestreams — View past livestreams, including ones with recordings, pull up a livestream’s details, and see which livestreams are live right now
- Members — Look up a member and manage invites (send, list, resend, revoke)
- Profile Fields — Get suggested Profile Fields, review your existing ones, create a field, rename a field, add and rename options, and show or hide fields
- Profiles — Update your name, short bio (up to 160 characters), or profile photo, and change a member’s first or last name
- Scheduling — Schedule Posts, Articles, Polls, and Questions to publish at a specific date and time, then reschedule or unschedule them right from chat. They show up in Scheduled Posts alongside anything you’ve scheduled yourself. Ask “What do I have scheduled?” and Cohost checks both Scheduled Posts and Scheduled Actions.
Anything already queued in Scheduled Actions still goes out on its date. Events Cohost schedules still use Scheduled Actions for now.
Recognize and support members
- Direct messages — Send a one-to-one message to a member
- Points — Grant recognition points to a member
- Welcomes — Post a welcome cheer for a new member
- Badges — Assign an existing Badge to a member, or rename a Badge
- Tags — Create a new Tag, assign a Tag to a member, or rename a Tag
- Follow — Follow or unfollow a member
- Look things up — List your Network’s members, Badges, Tags, or the Lessons, Sections, and Quizzes in a Course
Grow your Network
- Leads — Invite a lead to join your Network
- Join requests — List who’s asked to join your Network, a Space, or a plan, along with their answers to your screening questions
- Join questions — View the profile questions a Space asks when someone joins or requests access
- Ambassadors — View your Ambassador program stats, including members referred, Ambassadors at each level, and whether you can still send the Ambassador announcement
Keep your Network safe
- Block — Block a member, with an optional reason, to hide you from each other and archive your direct messages with them
- Member reports — Clear or restore all reports filed against a member
- Reported content — View what members have reported in your Network
Customize your Network
- Update your Big Purpose
- Store and refine your community design (Ideal Member, goals, themes, and more) to personalize guidance
Manage your notifications
- Notifications — Mark a notification as read, or clear it from your list
- Notification settings — Enable or disable the notifications you get, and how you get them
- Post notifications — Mute or unmute notifications for a specific post
Brand your Network
Share an image in chat, or a video for a Primary Video, and tell Cohost where it goes. For video, use a YouTube, Vimeo, or Mighty-hosted link, or an .mp4 or .webm file. Cohost can set: Network branding- Logo, in light mode and dark mode
- Primary Image
- Primary Video (replaces your Network’s Primary Image, since your Network shows one or the other)
- Global Header Brand, in light mode and dark mode

Set your Brand Direction
Brand Direction tells the AI image generation features in your Mighty Network what your brand looks like: style, mood, colors, and what to avoid. Ask Cohost to:- Generate — Draft a new Brand Direction for your Network in one step
- Define — Set the style, mood, motifs, people, palette, and what to avoid
- Edit — Update an existing direction; edits start as a draft, so your live direction stays put until you apply them

- Help with strategies for community building, growth, and engagement
Manage Marketing Banners
- Create — Set up a new Marketing Banner for your Network
- Update — Change the copy, link, or audience on an existing banner
- View — Pull up a single banner’s details, or list every banner in your Network
- Audiences — View the audiences you can target with a banner
Deleting a Marketing Banner needs your approval first.
View payments and plans
- Payment plans — Pull up a single plan’s details, or list every payment plan in your Network
- Subscriptions — Look up a member’s subscription, or list your Network’s subscriptions
- Purchases — List one-time purchases made in your Network
Manage your email blocklist
- Add an email address — Stop emails from your Network, including invites, from reaching that address
- Remove an email address — Let emails from your Network reach that address again
Actions Cohost can take with your approval
Ask Cohost to handle any of the following, and it’ll show you an approval card first: Announcements and invites- Send an announcement to members

Cohost conversations work independently of your Network’s private chat settings. Even if private chat is turned off for members, you can still chat with Cohost.
How to Share Images with Cohost
Cohost reads the most recently shared image in your chat. Send one image per message so each one lands where you want it.
- Upload a single image in your chat with Cohost.
- Tell Cohost where it goes. For example: “This is the dark mode logo for my Network.”
- Confirm the placement looks right.
- Repeat with your next image.

- Scale Plan and above: Unlimited messages
