As a Host, you can downgrade your plan, cancel your subscription, or deactivate or delete your Mighty Network entirely This article walks you through each option and what to expect.

How to Downgrade Your Plan

If you want to switch to a lower-tier paid plan:
  1. Log in to your Mighty Network on web.
  2. Choose the gear icon in the upper right corner
  3. Choose Mighty Billing Plan.
  4. Scroll down and select Downgrade Your Plan.
  5. Choose your new plan and confirm.

What Happens When I Downgrade?

When you downgrade, your new plan will begin on your next billing date. This means you have some time to decide: You’ll need to manually update roles and archive extra Spaces before continuing with your downgrade. Note: On newer plans (Explore, Launch, Scale, Growth), course videos count toward your Network’s storage limit. Legacy plans with unlimited course videos are not affected by this change.

What if I don’t make any changes?

If you don’t take action, we’ll automatically prioritize what to keep based on the following:

For Hosts & Moderators:

  • The Network Creator will always remain a Host
  • We’ll keep the most recently active Hosts and Moderators
  • We’ll prioritize Hosts and Moderators tied to Spaces with active features (like active plans or contributions)

For Spaces:

  • We’ll keep the most active Spaces (based on recent activity and participation)
  • Extra Spaces beyond your plan’s limit will be archived automatically
  • Archived Spaces can be reactivated if you upgrade again later
  • If your Space is part of a plan, it will remain on the plan but members will be blocked from accessing it until you upgrade your plan.
When you upgrade, we will restore your archived Spaces but won’t promote your previous Hosts or moderators. If you have any questions, reach out to our team in the “Need Help?” button in your Mighty Network.

How to Cancel Your Plan

Canceling your plan downgrades your Network to the Free Plan.
  1. Log in to your Mighty Network.
  2. Choose the gear icon in the upper right corner
  3. Choose Mighty Billing Plan.
  4. Scroll down and select Downgrade Your Plan.
  5. Choose Downgrade to Free Plan, then confirm.
You’ll continue to access your existing premium features until your current billing cycle ends.

Canceling an Engagement Boost

Engagement Boosts must be canceled separately.
  1. Go to Mighty Billing Plan.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Cancel Boost.

Deactivating or Deleting Your Mighty Network

You can either deactivate your Network (temporary, reversible) or delete it (permanent).

How to Delete Your Mighty Network

Before deleting your Network, make sure:
  1. Your Mighty Network is on the Free Plan.
  2. All active paid plans are fully deactivated.

Step 1: Downgrade to the Free Plan

Go to Admin > Mighty Billing Plan, then follow the prompts to downgrade.

Step 2: Deactivate All Active Member Plans

If you use integrated payments:
  1. Go to Admin > Plans > Plans List.
  2. Deactivate each active plan.
  3. Wait a few hours for all plans to disappear from the active list.

Step 3: Delete Your Mighty Network

When everything is fully deactivated:
  1. Go to Admin > Setup > Basics.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and select Delete it here.

Important

Deleting your Mighty Network is permanent. All content, data, and member activity will be removed and cannot be recovered.

How to Deactivate Your Mighty Network (Instead of Deleting)

If you’d like to pause your Network without permanently removing it, you can request a deactivation. Deactivation:
  • Makes your Network inaccessible to members
  • Preserves all content
  • Allows you to return and reactivate at any time
