How to Promote a Space
Space Hosts and moderators can promote a Space by:- Navigate to the three-dot menu in the left navigation menu
- Select “Promote in Navigation Panel” from the Spaces list
Requirements
The Space must have the setting “Who Can See This Space?” set to “Anyone in the Network”.How Promoted Spaces Appear
For Non-Members
People who are not members of a Promoted Space will see:- A star icon next to the Space in their navigation
- The icon uses the Space’s custom color
For Members
- After joining the Space, the star icon disappears for that member
- Indicates they’re already part of the Space
For Hosts and Moderators
- Hosts and moderators only see the star icon if they are not members of the Space
- Hosts can view all Promoted Spaces in Admin > Navigation and Spaces > Space List

Use Promoted Spaces to:- Highlight important community Spaces
- Draw attention to new Spaces
- Increase discovery of key content areas
- Guide members to essential resources
- Feature seasonal or time-sensitive Spaces
