Custom Domain Mapping requires a Community Plan or higher subscription.
Custom Domain Mapping allows you to use your own web address instead of the default networkname.mn.co URL.

Steps to Set Up a Custom Domain

1. Buy a Domain

Purchase a domain from providers like:
  • GoDaddy
  • Namecheap
  • Google Domains
Choose a root domain (e.g., mycommunity.com)

2. Choose Domain Access Method

You have two options: Option 1: Root Domain (A Record)
  • Example: mycommunity.com
Option 2: Subdomain (CNAME Record)
  • Example: www.mycommunity.com

3. Add DNS Records with Domain Provider

For A Record (Root Domain): Use these IP addresses:
  • 147.185.161.77
  • 147.185.161.78
For CNAME Record (Subdomain): Point to: ssl.mn.co

4. Activate Domain in Mighty Networks

  1. Log in to your Mighty Network
  2. Go to Admin > Integrations > Custom Network Domain
  3. Enter your domain

5. Optional: Set Up Redirects

Configure redirects to work with both root and subdomain versions of your domain.

Important Notes

  • Requires Community Plan or higher
  • Default mn.co links will continue to work
  • Subdirectories are not supported (e.g., example.com/community)
  • DNS changes may take a few hours to complete
After setting up your custom domain, it may take a few hours for the DNS changes to propagate fully.
