On the web, you can enable desktop notifications that will create a popup message in your browser each time a notification is received and your tab is not in focus.

Notification Settings

Notifications depend on your settings in Personal Settings > Notifications. They can also be enabled through the browser chat icon.

Browser-Specific Setup

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Click More > Settings
  3. Go to Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Notifications
  4. Select “Sites can ask to send notifications”

Safari

  1. Select Preferences > Websites
  2. Choose Notifications in the left pane
  3. Allow/deny notification requests for specific websites

Firefox

  1. Click the lock icon in the address bar
  2. Click arrow symbol > Connection status
  3. Select More Information > Permissions tab
  4. Under “Send Notifications”, select Allow

Computer-Level Notification Settings

Mac

  1. Open System Settings
  2. Select Notifications
  3. Find the desired app
  4. Turn on “Allow notifications”
  5. Choose notification style
  6. Enable sound notifications

Windows PC

  1. Click Start > Settings
  2. Choose System > Notifications
  3. Ensure Notifications are on
  4. Verify browser notifications are enabled
Desktop notifications will only appear when your Mighty Network tab is not in focus, helping you stay updated while working in other applications.
