Creating a Text Chat Event Overview
Text Chat Events allow real-time text chatting with members. Participants can share:- Images
- Links
- Emojis
Steps to Create a Text Chat Event
- Ensure Events are enabled in your network
- Use the ”+” button to create a new Event
- Set Event details (title, date, time)
- Under “Event Type”, select “Online”
- Choose “Text Chat” from the dropdown menu
Key Features
- Members who RSVP will get a reminder 10 minutes before the event
- Chat link will be available on the Event post
- Participants can join directly from the event page
How to Enable Chat Feature
If Chat isn’t already enabled:- Go to the gear icon
- Select “Space Features”
- Click on “Chat”
Important Notes
Text Chat Events do not include video or audio capabilities.
