Mighty Networks provides multiple notification channels to keep your members informed and engaged with your community.

Notification Types

1. In-App Notifications

Delivered via the bell icon in the web and mobile app, based on each member’s personal notification settings.

2. Email Notifications (On by Default)

Sent to the email address members used to join your network. Frequency Options:
  • “As Activity Happens” - Immediate notifications for each activity
  • “Daily Digest” (default) - Consolidated summary sent daily at 5:00 PM local time
Members can turn off email notifications entirely in their Personal Settings.

3. Mobile Push Notifications (Off by Default)

Push notifications appear directly on members’ mobile devices and can be enabled or disabled in their settings.

4. Desktop Notifications

Pop-up messages that appear when the Mighty Network tab isn’t active in the browser. Can be turned on or off based on preference.

5. Pop-Up Notifications (On by Default)

Brief messages that appear in the corner of the screen, primarily used for:
  • Direct chat messages
  • Space chat messages

Managing Notification Preferences

Members can manage all notification preferences by going to: Profile Picture > Personal Settings > Notifications

Special Notification Categories

Account Notifications

These notifications cannot be disabled as they contain critical account information:
  • Plan deactivation alerts
  • Payment updates
  • Account security notifications

Payment Notifications

Updates about subscription status, payment failures, and billing information.

Member Profile Notifications

Notifications related to profile activity and member interactions.

Space Notifications

Members can customize notifications for individual Spaces, allowing them to:
  • Receive all updates from highly relevant Spaces
  • Minimize notifications from less active Spaces

Unique Features

Space-Level Customization: Members have granular control over notifications for each Space they’re part of, enabling them to stay informed about what matters most while reducing notification overload.
