As a Host of a Mighty Network with paid plans, you are responsible for making decisions about refunding members.

Key Points

  • Refunds are not automatically generated
  • No partial or full refunds are promised when a member:
    1. Leaves your Mighty Network
    2. Is removed from a paid Space
    3. Is banned from a Plan Access Mighty Network

Web Purchase Refunds (via Stripe)

  1. Find the Member in Stripe
  2. Go to Payments
  3. Hover over the payment to refund
  4. Click the refund icon
  5. Confirm the refund

Important Notes

  • Transaction fees are non-refundable
  • Refunded amount = original charge minus transaction fees

iOS Purchase Refunds

iOS transactions do not appear in Stripe. Alternative refund methods:
  1. iTunes Gift Card
  2. Check
  3. PayPal/Venmo payment
  4. Reach out to Apple Support

Member Refund Process for iOS

Members can request refunds from Apple:
  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with Apple ID
  3. Click “Report” or “Report a Problem” button
  4. Follow instructions to submit refund request

Final Step

After processing the refund, revoke member’s access to the Plan.
Remember that Stripe transaction fees are non-refundable, so the refunded amount will be less than the original charge.
