Scheduling a Livestream Event
1. Create Your Event
- Navigate to the Space where you want to hold the event
- Select Create button > Event
2. Event Details
Configure your event with the following:- Give the event a descriptive title
- Upload banner and thumbnail images
- Write an event description
- Under “Event Type”, select “[Network Name] Livestream”
3. Set Event Time
Choose the date and time for your livestream.Starting the Livestream
When you’re ready to start:- On the “Ready to Go?” page, select “Add livestream link to Event”
- A dropdown will appear with Events happening within 20 minutes of your start time
- Select your event to automatically populate the livestream link
Only Network Hosts who are also Space Hosts can start the livestream. Meeting, Webinar, and Zoom Events will not appear in the dropdown.
Virtual Backgrounds (macOS Sequoia)
If you’re using macOS Sequoia, you can add virtual backgrounds:- Use Chrome browser
- Click the green video icon in the top toolbar
- Select “Background”
- Choose built-in or custom backgrounds
Monthly screen sharing permission may be required.
