Sections and Lessons are features in a Mighty Networks Course that help organize content.

Sections

  • Allow breaking up content and organizing similar materials
  • Can create up to 500 Sections and/or Lessons per Course
  • Serve as a “mini overview for a specific part”
  • Contain individual Lessons

Lessons

  • Can stand alone or be organized within Sections
  • Can be customized with:
    • Visibility settings
    • Unlocking rules
    • Completion buttons
    • Instructor assignment
    • Thumbnails
    • Preview options

Key Features

  • Can only create/edit Courses on web
  • Multiple display views available:
    • Thumbnail View
    • Simple View
    • Grid View
  • Ability to bookmark and preview content
  • Option to pin Sections/Lessons to Featured or Welcome Sections

You can only create and edit content for your Course on web. Maximum of 500 total Sections and Lessons per Course.
