Mighty Networks allows hosts to set up screening questions and approval processes when creating a Plan. This helps you understand potential members better and control who joins your community.

Question Configuration

  • Create up to 5 custom questions for potential members
  • Questions are long-form text fields with a 500-character maximum
  • Three possible configuration options:
    1. Screening Questions only
    2. Approval only
    3. Screening Questions and Approval

Setting Up Questions

  1. Go to Admin > Plans > Plan List
  2. Select ”+” icon to create a new Plan

  1. On the “Gates” page, toggle Screening Questions and/or Approval

  1. Create questions, marking them as required or optional
  2. Set Plan pricing and visibility

Member Experience

Members will answer questions during the signup/purchase process: Member screening questions form Hosts receive notifications about pending approvals and can approve or decline membership requests: Host approval interface Declined members receive an email explaining the status: Declined membership notification

Important Notes

  • At least one required question is mandatory
  • Multiple-choice questions are not currently supported
  • Question responses can be downloaded in the Plan Member list
