If you’re moving your community to Mighty Networks and have existing paying members, this guide provides a strategic approach to transitioning them to the new platform.

Key Steps

1. Member Cohort Organization

Organize members into cohorts based on remaining membership time:
  • More than 6-12 months remaining
  • More than 3-6 months remaining
  • More than 1-3 months remaining
  • 1 month or less remaining

2. Create Hidden Subscription Plans

For each cohort, create a hidden subscription plan with corresponding free trial lengths:
  • 1-year free trial for 6-12 months remaining
  • 6-month free trial for 3-6 months remaining
  • 3-month free trial for 1-3 months remaining
  • 1-month free trial for 1 month or less remaining

3. Lifetime Access Members

For members with lifetime access, create a “hidden free Plan” providing permanent access. Create share links for each plan and email them to the corresponding member cohorts.
