There are two main roles in a Space: Space Host and Space Moderator. An unlimited number of people can be designated in each role.

Space Host Permissions

Space Hosts have comprehensive permissions and can:
  • Manage basic Space settings
  • Delete the Space
  • Manage privacy and access
  • Enable/disable Space features
  • Change member roles
  • Remove members and moderators

Space Moderator Permissions

Space Moderators have more limited permissions:
  • Cannot change core Space settings
  • Cannot delete the Space
  • Cannot change member roles
  • Can moderate content and members within the Space

Permission Categories

The specific permissions are organized across several categories:
  • Setup: Basic space configuration
  • Space Branding: Visual customization
  • Space Features: Feature toggles
  • Content Highlights: Content management
  • Members: Member management
  • Moderation: Content and member moderation
  • Invites/Approvals: Member access control

Course Owners

In addition to Space Hosts and Moderators, Course Owners can manage individual lessons within a Space’s course feature.
