As a Space Host or moderator, you have the ability to quickly message all members in a Space or send targeted messages to specific groups of members.

Messaging All Members in a Space

To send a message to all members in a Space:
  1. Navigate to Space gear icon > Members > Member List
  2. Select the three-dot menu > Message All Members
  3. Write a short announcement or update
  4. Send the message

Important Messaging Notes

Who Receives Messages

  • Messages go to both full and limited Space members
  • Members with notifications turned off won’t receive alerts
  • Members inactive for 6+ months won’t receive notifications
This ensures your messages reach active, engaged members while respecting notification preferences.

Messaging Specific Members

To send targeted messages to selected members:
  1. Go to Space Gear Icon > Members > Member List
  2. Select specific members using checkboxes
  3. Choose Bulk Actions > Send Message
  4. Write and send your message

Member Experience

When you send a message, members receive a notification that says: “Your Host [Name] sent you a message” Members can:
  • View the full message by clicking the notification
  • Reply via private chat (web only)

Advanced Segmentation

You can further segment your messaging by:
  • Plan type - Target members on specific membership plans
  • Tags - Message members with specific tags
  • Badges - Reach members who have earned certain badges
This allows for highly targeted communication based on member characteristics and engagement levels.
