# Installation

> An app installed on a device, registered to receive the viewer's push
notifications from this Network. A push carries the URL to open when it is
tapped — a deep link in the registered app's URL scheme, or the web address a
Host linked an announcement to — in `other.launchURL` of the APNs payload and in
the `link` data key on FCM. On APNs, a push about a new, trending or featured
question or multiple-choice poll also sets `content-available` and the
`Question` or `MultipleChoicePoll` category, so the app can offer to answer or
vote from the notification; FCM pushes carry no category.

## Fields

**`appId`**: `String`

The app the device token belongs to: its iOS bundle ID on APNs, its Android package name on FCM.

**`deviceIdentifier`**: `String!`

The identifier the app registered the device under.

**`hasDeviceToken`**: `Boolean!`

Whether the installation still holds a device token. False once the push
service reports the token is no longer valid; register the app's current token
again to resume pushes.

**`platform`**: `PushPlatform`

The push notification service the device token was issued by.
