# EventInstance

> A specific instance of an event (for recurring events, represents one
occurrence). `id` composes the event record's resource ID with the occurrence
key and is not itself a resource ID: name the record with `postId` or
`postResourceId`, and the occurrence within it with `instanceIndex` — its
scheduled time, equal to `startsAt` only when the occurrence carries no time override.

**Required scopes:** `read:network`, `write:posts`, `write:comments`,
`write:rsvps`, `host:read:network`, `host:read:network_posts`,
`host:write:network_posts`, `host:read:network_events`,
`host:write:network_events` (any one)
