# joinSpace

> Join a Space in this Network as the signed-in member. Open Spaces can be
joined by any full member; an invite-only Space by the recipient of an
invitation to it; a paid Space requires a plan that includes it. To ask to
join a private Space, use `createInviteRequest`.

**Required scope:** `write:memberships`



**mutation** `joinSpace(input: JoinSpaceInput!): JoinSpacePayload`

## Arguments

**`input`**: `JoinSpaceInput!` (required)

Parameters for JoinSpace

## Returns

`JoinSpacePayload`

**`clientMutationId`**: `String`

A unique identifier for the client performing the mutation.
