# createLeadMessage

> Send a host-composed message to captured Leads. Leads whose email belongs to
an active member receive it as an in-app announcement; every other Lead
receives a branded email. This mutation's cost scales with the audience it
reaches: the base mutation cost plus one point per Lead, up to a per-request
ceiling. Naming Leads with leadIds is charged for exactly those Leads; a
filter is charged for the Network's whole Lead list, because the matched set
is not known until the send runs.
