# How Do I Use the Mighty Networks Ambassador Program?

Your **Ambassador Program** is a built-in member referral system that encourages and rewards members for inviting others to join your Mighty Network.

The Ambassador Program becomes available when your Mighty Network is on the [**Launch Plan**](https://docs.mightynetworks.com/for-hosts/meet-mighty/whats-included-in-the-mighty-networks-courses-plan) or higher. It’s designed to motivate members to share your Network based on its value and impact—not through paid commissions.

If you’re looking for a paid affiliate model, you can connect an affiliate integration alongside the Ambassador Program.

## How to Enable the Ambassador Program

By default, the Ambassador Program is turned off.

To enable it:

1. Go to **Admin > Members > Ambassador Program.**
2. Toggle the feature on.

### When you enable your Ambassador Program:

* You can send an **announcement** to your current members by going to **Manage > Send an Announcement.**
* New members automatically receive an **in-app notification** and **email** encouraging them to refer others.
* Each member gets a **personalized referral link**, available anytime from the **Invite page** or their **profile** in the mobile app.

**Note:** If a member shares their referral link directly, it won’t appear in the *Invites Sent* list. That list only tracks invitations sent through the built-in email feature.

You can track your Ambassadors and their referrals from your **Members** page.

* Members can view their referral count and Ambassador level on the [**Invite**](https://docs.mightynetworks.com/for-hosts/admin-and-moderation/how-do-i-view-and-manage-my-members) page.

To send an announcement, your Mighty Network must have at least one member. If you’ve already sent one, you’ll need to disable and re-enable the Ambassador Program to send another.

## How the Ambassador Program Works

When members refer new people who join your Mighty Network, they automatically earn an Ambassador level:

* **Bronze Ambassador:** 2+ referrals
* **Silver Ambassador:** 10+ referrals
* **Gold Ambassador:** 25+ referrals

As members level up, they receive a notification and can see their status on their profile.

Once enabled, Ambassador levels can’t be renamed or reset.

### If Your Mighty Network Is Accessible Through Plans

* Members can share invites from the **Invite page**, **Invite icon** (on web), or their **referral link**.
* Invitees skip the landing page and go straight to sign-up, where they select a Plan.
* Once the invitee joins a Plan (or completes a free trial, if offered), the referring member earns credit.
* Invitees aren’t automatically granted free access to paid Plans. To let them join for free, you can send them an invite link for a **hidden Free Plan**.

### If Your Mighty Network Is Invite-Only

* Members can invite others from the **Invite page**, **Invite icon** (on web), or their **referral link**.
* Invitees can join your Mighty Network without approval.
* When they sign up, the referring member automatically receives credit.

## Adding Custom Rewards

You can add your own rewards to recognize Ambassadors as they reach new levels.

To do this:

1. Go to **Admin > Members > Ambassador Program > Manage Additional Ambassador Rewards.**
2. Add rewards and instructions for each level.

Examples of rewards Hosts often use:

* 10% off a community shop
* A free tote bag or t-shirt
* A featured “Member of the Month” spotlight
* A complimentary event ticket

Example messages to share when a member levels up:

* “You’re now a Silver Ambassador! Enjoy 10% off in our online store using this code: **XYZ**.”
* “Congrats on referring 10 new members! Here’s your early access code for our next event: **XYZ**.”
* “You rock! A Host will reach out soon to feature you as our Member of the Month.”

You can also automate these rewards using our [**Automations**](https://docs.mightynetworks.com/for-hosts/automations/how-can-i-set-up-automations-in-my-mighty-network) or with [**Zapier**](https://docs.mightynetworks.com/for-hosts/analytics-and-integrations/can-i-use-zapier-with-mighty-networks) when members reach a new level.

You can update or disable rewards anytime.

## Turning Off the Ambassador Program

To turn off the Ambassador Program:

1. Go to **Admin > Members > Ambassador Program.**
2. Toggle the feature off.
