# How Do I Customize My Emails?

If your Mighty Network is on the [Launch Plan](https://docs.mightynetworks.com/for-hosts/meet-mighty/whats-included-in-the-mighty-networks-courses-plan.md) or higher, you can personalize the opening of two (with more to come!) key emails that your members receive.

### Which Emails You Can Customize

* **Network Welcome:** Sent to everyone who joins your overall Network, including people who join through a plan that includes overall Network access.
* **Daily Digest:** Your members’ [daily summary](https://docs.mightynetworks.com/for-hosts/content-and-messaging/whats-the-daily-digest.md) of unread notifications.

For each email, you can edit the **Title** and **Description** that appear at the top. The rest of the email keeps its standard layout.

### How to Customize Your Emails

1. Go to **Admin > Branding > Emails**.
2. Find the email you want to edit: **Network Welcome** or **Daily Digest**.
3. Edit the **Title** (up to 60 characters).
4. Edit the **Description** (up to 200 characters).
5. Click **Save**.

Each field shows the text that your emails already send right now, so you know exactly what members are already receiving before you make a change.

**Tip:** Search “customize emails,” “email templates,” or “welcome message” in your Admin settings to jump straight to this page.

### Send Yourself a Sample

Want to see your email before members do? Click the **Send Me a Sample** button (the paper airplane) next to the email’s name. We’ll send a sample with your saved Title and Description to the email address on your account.

* Save your changes first. The button is turned off while you have unsaved edits.
* You can send up to 10 samples an hour.
* To send a Daily Digest sample, your Network needs some activity from the past week.
* Only Hosts can send samples.

### Add Placeholders

Placeholders fill in details automatically when each email sends:

* **%NETWORK%** adds your Network’s name
* **%FIRST\_NAME%** adds the member’s first name
* **%DATE%** adds today’s date

Placeholders don’t count toward your character limits.

### Add Pictures to the Description

You can add up to 3 pictures to the Description of each email.

1. Click into the **Description** field and type **/**.
2. Select the image option and upload your picture.

Each picture counts as 1 character toward the 200-character Description limit.

### Default Text

If you leave a field blank, we use the default text:

| Email | Default Title | Default Description |
| :- | :- | :- |
| Network Welcome | Welcome to %NETWORK% | We can’t wait to see you in the community. |
| Daily Digest | Your Daily Digest | Here’s everything you missed on %DATE%. |

### Good to Know

* Email customization is available on the Launch Plan and up. It isn’t available during free trials.
* If your Network moves to a plan below Launch, your emails go back to the default text.
